Stephanie Nickman Triplett, Au.D., Audiologist

Stephanie Nickman Triplett, Au.D., has been and audiologist since 1982. She is a 1976 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and resident of Uniontown. She received her bachelors degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from The California University of Pennsylvania in 1979. Earned her Masters Degree in Audiology from The Pennsylvania State University in 1982. Was the 1981 winner of the Helen Woodruff Scholarship in Audiology. Her clinical internship was served at The Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was one of the first audiologists in the United States to receive the Au.D., the Doctoral Degree in Audiology from The University of Florida in 2000. Practical internship site was The Cleveland Clinic. Her first position was Chief Audiologist for Riverside Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. She is a founding member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology. She started her private practice in 1986.

Dr. Triplett’s specialization is Hearing Evaluation and Customized Hearing Aid Fitting. She believes strongly in tailoring her hearing aids to each individual, giving each patient the time, education and counseling necessary to be a delighted hearing aid user.

Dr. Triplett is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is Certified by The American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is a past member of the advisory committee for Hear Now. Hear Now provides hearing aids and cochlear implants for those who cannot afford them. Dr. Triplett volunteers her time for her Hear Now patients.
